In 1975 (That’s right, 1975!), Franceschi Advertising & PR began working with Farmers & Merchants Bank. Its sole office was located in Monticello, Florida, with total assets of roughly $30 million.

Today, FMB — as it came to be affectionately known — has eight offices with assets fast approaching $400 million.

For over 3 decades, we worked with this bank and were an integral part in the development of their brand. Our positioning for this financial institution morphed with the times. We took the original FMB tagline from the “Locally Owned, Locally Managed Business Bank” to a more brand-centric positioning line of “Banking Good Enough to Last a Lifetime™.”

Farmers & Merchants Bank won the prestigious Gold Coin Award twice. The American Banking Association gives this award annually to the one bank that exhibits the very best in bank marketing for its size. In addition to the Gold Coin, FMB has also earned dozens of other awards recognizing their marketing and advertising efforts.
